What I do.
Everything in one office, from first hearing test to long-term care. No part of this is rushed.
Comprehensive hearing test
A complete evaluation — not a quick screen. We measure how you hear at every frequency and check word recognition so we know what's happening, not just where there's a loss.
Reviewing your results together
Your hearing test becomes a chart called an audiogram. We walk through it in plain language — what each line means, where you fall versus normal, and what (if anything) is worth doing about it.
Hearing aid demonstration
If hearing aids make sense, we'll demo them in the office so you can hear what current technology actually sounds like — not what the brochure says it sounds like.
Insurance & discount plan review
Most third-party hearing benefits and discount plans are accepted. We sort out what yours covers before we get anywhere near a price tag. For some patients this is the right path — for others it's a bridge that lets you try aids before a larger commitment.
Fitting & education
Once you've decided, we set aside ninety minutes to fit the aids, program them to your audiogram, and walk you through how to use them — charging, app, cleaning, batteries if applicable. Nobody leaves unsure of how to use what they bought.
Ongoing service
Cleanings, programming adjustments, periodic hearing rechecks, education on features you haven't used yet. Hearing aids work better when they're maintained — and so do you, as you get used to them.
Hearing aid repair
When something breaks, we coordinate with the manufacturer for the repair. Aids not purchased here are welcome too.
Custom hearing protection
Custom-molded earplugs for hunters, musicians, factory workers, and anyone serious about protecting hearing they still have.
Five major manufacturers. No quotas.
As an independent fitter, I can fit whichever brand makes sense for your hearing — not the one a corporate office told me to push this quarter.
Start with a hearing test.
Initial evaluations are two hours. They include the test, the explanation, and an honest conversation about whether anything actually needs to change.
